1) 목적

글의 성격과 종류, 양식은 이 목표에 따라 달라진다.



또한, 좋은 글을 쓰려면 필요한 자료를 풍부하게 준비해야 한다.

자료만 많다고 좋은 것은 아니지만 자료를 효율적으로 활용할 때 글의 내용은 충실해진다.

여기에서 자료를 정리하는 과정은 글을 쓰기 위한 구상을 구체화하는 과정과 맞물린다.

자료를 정리한다는 것은 그것들의 관계를 설정하는 일로, 자료들을 선후 내지는 인과에 따라 논리적으로 배치하는 작업이기 때문이다.

좋은 글이란, 그 주제가 적절하고 타당해야 하며 문장이 명확하면서도 간결해야 한다.

그리고 글 전체가 짜임새 있는 구성을 갖추어야 한다.

여기에서 짜임새 있는 구성이란 글의 주장과 내용을 논리적 흐름에 따라 조직해 내는 것이다.

2) 표현



충분하고 정확한 자료 조사와 분석과 내용이 충실하고 근거가 되는 정보와 사실은 정확하고 믿을 만한지 적절한 자료를 선택했는지 확립된 권위에 기대어 인용할 때, 제대로 된 인용 방법을 지키고 있는지 난해하게 쓴 글과 표현이 부적절해서 읽기 힘든 글은 차이가 있다.

글을 쓸 때는 목적이 분명해야 한다.

대상에 대한 인상을 감각적으로 전하려 할 때 와 정확하고 객관적으로 전달하려고 할 때 선택하는 단어나 문장, 글의 전개 방식은 달라질 수밖에 없다.

3) 짜임

적절한 단어의 선택과 배치, 문장의 호응은 물론, 부분과 전체의 통일성이 있는 짜임이 중요하다.

적절한 단어를 선택과 개념어 사용에 유의, 널리 알려진 용어가 아니라면 반드시 개념을 정의하고, 문맥을 오해할 소지가 있다면 한자나 영어를 표기한다.

불필요한 표현은 없는지 무의미한 표현, 잉여적 부분을 삭제하고 상투적 표현을 되도록 피한다.

문장의 길이가 적당하고 전달 내용은 명료한지. 부분과 전체의 통일성이 있고 짜임새가 있는지. 글의 형식이나 필자의 관점이 전체적으로 일관된 흐름을 유지해야 하고 완결성이 있는가. 정보가 불충분하거나 의문의 여지를 남기는 글은 완결성이 부족한 글이 되어버린다.



글은 의도가 분명하고 독자의 요구와 수준을 고려한 것이어야 하며, 내용은 충실하고 정확해야 한다. 이런 내용이 잘 전달될 수 있는 짜임과 정확한 표현으로 쓰여야 한다.

2. 다음 제시된 쌍들의 차이를 3-4문장으로 설명하고, 그 쓰임을 설명할 수 있는 예문을 본인이 직접 작성하시오.

(1) ’느라고‘와 ’노라고‘

-노라고는 자기 나름으로는 한다고의 뜻을 나타내는 말이다.

예) 음악을 듣느라고 전화벨 소리를 못 들었다

-느라고는 그렇게 하는 일 때문에라는 의미

예) 자기 딴에는 노력하다는 뜻으로 쓸 때는 하노라고 했는데 하노라고 한 게라고 해야 맞다.
